Pedophile Bishop Long Stroke Not Paying His Victims

False prophet, pimp and Jeri curl wearing cult leader along with his attorney's have informed three of the five young men who accused the pastor of sexual coercion that they intend to recover nearly $1 million from their financial settlement, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has learned.

The letter, sent this week by the Atlanta law firm Drew Eckl & Farnham, alleges that Jamal Parris, Spencer LeGrande and Centino Kemp (the victims) violated terms of a confidentiality agreement outlined in the settlement with Long and New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Anything to buy more wigs and more tight dusters, I see... The firm is seeking at least $900,000 already paid the three accusers, according to people involved in the settlement but not authorized to speak publicly. That figure is a portion of the total settlement with the three men. I would pee on the money before I paid it back and that's money that technically the CHURCH paid.

Financial terms of that settlement have not been disclosed but, based on the letter and the fact each of the young men were paid equitably, the total comes to at least $1.5 million.
The letter outlines the plaintiffs' "demand for arbitration" though no legal documents have yet been filed.

The letter could simply be a threat, said Atlanta litigator Hayden Pace.
"No one's going to turn over the money just simply because you've asked for it," Pace said. "You're going to have to earn it back by establishing your right to it in the courts." Really?! Now you want to arbitrate and fight after you went down without so much as a whimper? Is it because membership is down and fellow pimp and cult leader has equated your molestation as simply a "wreck" and admonished them to return under your psychotic "leadership"? Is this a last ditch effort to save what's left of your fledgling ministry? Your wife woke up and packed up, but you still have sheep that still think you are straight. How can anyone think a person is straight that says the following: "Men can look attractive when they are dirty," (I know you know about that, I bet you like cowboy boots and chaps. Or the proverbial man with the drink can wiping his neck in front a dusty gas station wearing booty shorts...) "We see sweating, dirty, hardworking men on television all the time and we say to one another, 'There's a macho guy.'"

Here is another great line where he is attacking women serving in the military and just assuming they are lesbians, as if military service has anything to do with sexual orientation: "It is the most unattractive thing I have ever seen, when I see women wearing uniforms that men would wear, and women fighting to get in the military!" Long shouted to his congregation then. "The woman gets perverted to turn towards woman … and everybody knows it's dangerous to enter an exit! And everybody knows, lady, if you go to the store and buy these devices [marital aids], it's Memorex! It ain't real!" His congregation of course applauds in agreement! How are "toys" memorex? Does he know what memorex is? Is he aware that memorex is a tape brand that doesn't exist anymore just like he godawful toupee's?

The audience, seated in a congested sanctuary, erupts in laughter. But what Long says next is no joke and should cause alarm bells to ring.

"God says you deserve death!" Where? Show me the Bible, Quran, Book of Mormon in any Century where it says that a woman fighting for her country should be killed. Show me where lesbianism specifically is a death sentence. Where does it say that using a personal massager is a mortal sin and requires a death sentence. Yet, child molestation is just fine. Right? So that means that you too deserve to die since you have the power of life and death to condemn those that are just like you.

Long extended an invitation to gays and lesbians looking for a "cure" to attend a "Sexual Orientation and Reorientation" conference at New Birth or should I say After Birth. The event consisted mostly of "ex-gay" ministers like the Rev. D. L. Foster and former gangsta rapper Samantha Coleman preaching that people can be "delivered" from the "unwanted desires" of homosexuality. Foster told the small crowd of black and white Christians with same-sex attractions how he "never once prayed to God for him to make me homosexual … but I didn't know how to get rid of it." You know why you didn't know how to get rid of it? YOU WERE BORN THAT WAY! Didn't know that people prayed to be made homosexual, I thought that was something people were, just like being heterosexual. I don't remember ever "praying" to be straight, I just liked boys. What kind is idiocy is that for a testimony? Were they passing out vodka for communion wine that day? That's totally idiotic. That's like saying "I never once prayed to God to make me Black or White. That was something that I had no control over. How can you get rid of that? Who asks to be gay really? Who really prays to be discriminated against and repeatedly told, "you are going to hell." Yeah...I want to sign on to that by choice. Seriously, are people really that stupid that people would believe "different" equates to good? Especially in the black churches, they should understand over everyone the fallacy of that argument. If I had been there, I would've got my purse and been out of there so quick that Longstroke's wig would've came off.

Coleman, similarly, said that she'd been aware of her feelings for women since she was 4, but would sometimes regret them, wishing she were just a "normal girl." So, if you are lesbian then you aren't a "normal" girl. What is normal? How do you define it? Wearing a greasy wig and dressing like the father of a solid gold dancer isn't normal. Taking a picture where you look like you are about to tounge kiss Bush isn't normal, but these are things that were done nonetheless.

New Birth also offers an ongoing ministry called "Out of the Wilderness", which should be the sequel to Brokeback Mountain that claims to help gays and lesbians "convert" to heterosexuality.  Program sessions are closed to the public. Of course it is, you have to already be brainwashed by Afterbirth for it to work or even make sense.

Ever wonder why he always talks about gays or why he had programs about so called reformed and cured gays? Was it hope for his urges perhaps? A cure for his own self loathing?

Mainstream psychologists and medical experts reject this notion of "curing" homosexuality because they say homosexuality is not a condition that needs a "cure. If black gays and lesbians feel emotionally desolate, alienated, or abandoned by their church, Long says, it's not because of bigoted attacks on them but because of their own sexual sin. In my opinion, it's also because of idiots in the pulpit continuing to perpetuate lies and ignorance to their mindless congregation. As long as they believe that homosexuality can be "caught", learned, or chosen then then bigotry will remain.

And if they don't change, he warns, they're going straight to hell. "Homosexuality and lesbianism are spiritual abortions," Long says. "Homosexuality is a manifestation of the fallen man." And child molestation is better?

Parris and LeGrande, who broke their silence in an interview with the AJC last month, said at the time they were aware of the risk.

“I’m going to tell the world – money does not buy happiness,” LeGrande said in August. “When you sleep at night, the problems are still there. The money stuff, who cares about the number.” I would try, sincerely try...I don't think he's applying himself.

“I feel like burning [the money],” he said. (Don't do that...I got some bills that need to be paid, Visa takes blood money).


Parris, LeGrande and Kemp declined to comment on the letters received this week. Each has announced plans to write a book, with Parris and LeGrande telling the AJC they were collaborating on a tell-all that will reveal details of their relationship with Long. (And it begins...)

Parris and LeGrande, along with two other former New Birth Missionary Baptist Church members, filed a lawsuit last September alleging the charismatic pastor "uses monetary funds from the accounts of New Birth and other corporate and non-profit corporate accounts to entice the young men with cars, clothes, jewelry, and electronics."
Each alleged that, once they reached the age of consent, Long coerced them into sexual relationships.
Kemp surfaced later and was included in the settlement deal announced in late May after months of mediation.

Through a spokesman, Long has consistently denied the allegations. Following the announcement of the settlement, the bishop, 58, released a statement saying the agreement was made “to bring closure to this matter and to allow us to move forward with the plans God has for this ministry.”

What does he have for the ministry? Closing the closet door again? This conman is so deep in the closet he is finding Christmas presents 2 years in advance. These performance artists look for people to prey on, whether they are using their skills as a street level con (i.e. displaced pimp) or a person of the community con (one considered prominent – minister, politics, i.e. Mark Foley).  The more homophobic a person is the more likely the person is a self hating closet case homosexual/lesbian, lets never forget Ted Haggard and this clown dressed like an extra on Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation tour.

2. a live boy
3. a big ol’ pile of cash.

Well that's 2 out of 3 that Longstroke had... What's even worse about this bloated, greasy headed buffoon is that he has never once apologized to his congregation, to the kids, his wife or anyone. Jimmy Swaggert, Ted Haggert, Jim Baker and Bill Clinton had the sense to apologize publicly. What about humility? Yes, there is an unfairness in the treatment of sexual predators based on age/sex/sexual orientation. It’s disgraceful. However, I have major problems with closeted gay public figures in official positions vilifying gays in an open public forum or legislating against their rights.

I don’t know the details of these boys’ lives, but I can tell you the general pattern of predators like this. They seek out easy targets – boys with low self-esteem, no father figure, seeking love, acceptance, and approval.

The predator builds a relationship with these boys that – at first – is very fatherly. They engage in appropriate, non-sexual “male bonding” activities, eliciting a strong sense of love and trust from their targets. Remember they had those "conferences".  Then they begin to talk about sexual topics, generally starting with heterosexual behavior. They often share pornographic materials with the boys. They do this in order to make the boys feel comfortable with sexual topics and accept it as normal – no big deal. If the boys become aroused (pretty easy to do with a hormonal teen boy), the predator may try to convince them that the arousal is due to their feelings for the predator. They blur the boundaries in small increments – this is called grooming. Longstroke was God's vessel and their fatherly figure, imagine the mind job that played. So sinister...

By the time the predator has worked up to sexual contact, their victims are emotionally dependent on them and unsure of what is acceptable and what is not. They may feel that they are wrong for being uncomfortable, or that they owe the predator for everything the predator has given. In this care clothes, cars, money, trips. If there is fear, it is usually the fear that the predator will withdraw his love. Predators are also good at making sexual contact seem a necessary means of expressing love. When the predator is a charismatic and powerful man – the leader of a mega church, for example – a vulnerable teenager can be manipulated into believing that their instincts are wrong. They may want to believe that their instincts are wrong, as well, since the reality they suspect is very, very painful.
The victims of sexual predators like this are not stupid. They are chosen because they are emotionally vulnerable, and the predators are masterful manipulators. They will use any leverage they can find to get their way.

The psychological harm from this kind of abuse is profound. The victims have to deal with questions about their own sexuality, feeling like they were at fault for leading the older man on, feeling stupid for allowing the sex, losing an important relationship, etc. on top of the direct sexual abuse.
