Why President Obama is a Dissapointment

"My administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration." 

Hollow words from an administration that enjoys press censorship and a president much different in theory than in practice. In 2008, the world wanted to believe him when he admonished President Bush and then Senator Clinton for authorizing the Iraq war. He once stated that the Bush administration " put forward a false choice between the liberties we cherish and the security we provide." Yet Americans find themselves nearly six years later, listening to Obama as he tells them they "can't have 100% security and also then have 100% privacy" and that "[t]here are trade offs involved," the same trade offs he once promised them refuge from. Deja vu...

When he was elected in 2008, the electorate was seeking a reprieve from unnecessary war, interventionism and the "Bush Doctrine", blind patriotism, "freedom fries", almost weekly be headings of contractors, terrible insurgent violence in Iraq, rising gas prices and a horrific recession. Obama turned out to be the same type of foreign policy hawk as Bush/ Cheney and to believe any different is willful ignorance. He did escalate the war in Afghanistan, authorized drone attacks in Pakistan, and Guantanamo remains open, even after he swore it would be closed a year after he took office. 

Obama proves to be just another president, but that wasn't supposed to be the case when your candidacy is predicated on "change". How is continuing what your predecessor started change to believe in? He has stated numerous times that he is fighting for the middle class, but median incomes are going down. Where are the infrastructure jobs, you know the "shovel ready" jobs to get America back to work? Oh that was in that turkey 2009 stimulus bill where there were not so many shovel ready jobs funded.  Here are my main issues with the Obama presidency and what I call his major failures.

Let's talk about his caver in chief leadership style. Obama's style is a mediator that likes to listen to both sides and find common ground to come up with a viable solution. It's the college professor in him, I suppose. Unfortunately, you have a bunch of idiots that love to thug their way to action and impose their will on the entire nation in order to get re-elected. Thanks to Professor Obama trying to negotiate with political terrorists, we got the sequester, the down grading of our credit rating, government shut down, 6 months of  debate of the ACA which cost democrats the Majority in the Congress and gave birth to the dumbest bastards on the planet, the TEA Party. What he needs are war time advisors much like Bush, to control messaging and not allow his enemies to control the story for a full 6 months before he addresses an issue. Obama and his apologists seem to forget the zero sum game tactics of Bush era politics that takes presidential destruction the singular goal. Especially when they tell you repeatedly that is their sole goal...

Another major issue is Obama's love and expansion of our surveillance state. 
Obama criticized Bush mercilessly over 9/11 post surveillance to spy on American citizens.  But after entering office, Obama has done nothing but ramp up all forms of surveillance, from meta data capture to wiretapping to recording phone log information of American citizens. Considering the man was a Constitutional Law Professor, somewhere he must have learned about our Bill of Rights. But like all Presidents before him, once Presidential authority has been given, it won't be given back, no matter the circumstances. 

Obama loves drones and his hypocrisy about using them. 
Remember why people voted for Obama? He didn't vote for the Iraq war, he wasn't elected then, but that's details. McCain and Clinton did. Obama showed disgust at their votes to authorize military action in Iraq and thus won the anti- war crowd. But years later, he has let the anti war people down, by expanding the drone war. Since elected, he has launched more than 390 drone attacks, 8 times more than Bush. Obama pledged transparency, drone attacks would increase and that they would only be conducted when there was a "near certainty" that civilians would not be killed. What his non stop drone attacks does is create a virtual, xbox, PlayStation mentality of killing. Plus, it's a great recruiting tool for the next generation of terrorists all the more willing to strike at the "great Satan".

Obama failed to change the political culture in Washington.
I thought that was comical when he uttered those words about change back in 2008. The throngs of people fainted and swooned, some listened to his speeches as one would listen to a song on their Ipod. He promised during his election campaign to turn the page on ugly partisanship politics and pass an agenda that works for all American people.  On another occasion, he declared that "the time has come to move beyond the bitterness and anger that’s consumed Washington….To build a coalition for change that stretches through red states and blue states….We’re choosing unity over division." We can blame a few people for this...Republicans for just being implacable from the get go, but Obama did not say, "I will change the culture, if the Republicans let me." Second, Obama's promise was impossible and a delusional wish, to think that he can get people with political agenda's beholden only to their constituents for the next election cycle to work for the good of everyone is insane. That's not politics, that's benevolence from Mother Theresa. Third, Republicans claim Obama did not reach out to them in the beginning when he was pushing for a stimulus package at the beginning of his presidency. True, he really didn't have to consult them because he had control of the house and congress, but still, it caused an atmosphere of rancor, distrust and political poison. When the Democrats lost one chamber, it made passing any legislation near impossible. 

Obama handles Scandals badly. 
The IRS review of political orgs, Justice seizure of the AP's phone records, and surveillance of the NSA are a few examples. The white house gave inconsistent and shifting explanations. Sure we can say it's not him directly, but once he knows about it, his explanations are just plain dumb. 

Obama isn't a liberal or moderate, he is a conservative. More like a neo- con to be fair to actual conservatives. There are several examples, such as rights to habeus corpus to detainees, torture, the Patriot Act, etc...I will compare what Bush did to what Obama did. 

 Bush suspended terrorism suspects’ right to habeas corpus. By branding them “unlawful enemy combatants” and by imprisoning them in Guantánamo Bay, his administration argued that they are not protected by the Constitution or by the Geneva Conventions, and can be imprisoned indefinitely without evidence or charges. The Supreme Court ruled in 2008 that Guantánamo Bay detainees do have the right to habeas corpus.

Candidate Obama said...

A constitutional scholar with a law degree from Harvard, Obama argued strongly against the Bush administration’s disregard for civil rights, calling them “the essence of who we are”: “As a parent, I can also imagine the terror I would feel if one of my family members were rounded up in the middle of the night and sent to Guantánamo without even getting one chance to ask why they were being held and being able to prove their innocence. … By giving suspects a chance – even one chance – to challenge the terms of their detention in court, to have a judge confirm that the government has detained the right person for the right suspicions, we could solve this problem without harming our efforts in the war on terror one bit.”

President Obama did...

Shortly after assuming office, Obama appealed a district court ruling that granted prisoners in Afghanistan the right to challenge the legality of their detention, adopting the legal argument straight from the Bush DOJ. This was well before his political opponents exerted public pressure to this effect. There is little or no evidence against a significant portion of U.S. detainees held on suspicion of terrorism, and many are known by the administration to be innocent.  In May 2010, Obama won the case in a DC Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Standing in front of the original Constitution at the National Archives in May 2009, Obama introduced a staggering new expansion of executive power: In addition to using military tribunals, the administration would now retain the right to indefinitely hold detainees deemed dangerous, even if they were known to be innocent of any crime, without charges, and without their day in either a court or a military tribunal. This was the first time in U.S. history that the executive branch asserted the right to imprison people indefinitely on suspicion that they might commit a crime in the future.

In 2006, Bush and many high-ranking officials in his administration stated publicly that they want to close down Guantánamo. The facility had become a PR disaster for the U.S., due to torture, homicides, and its very reason for existing, which was to escape legal oversight. There was, however, never any backtracking by the Bush administration on the legality of the practices in Guantánamo.

One of Obama’s first executive orders was to shut down Guantánamo (which Bush had also promised to do), along with secret CIA prisons abroad.  Obama’s strategy from the start, however, was to move Guantánamo detention practices elsewhere while continuing to argue for their legality. He was denied funding by the Senate to transfer Guantánamo detainees — into continued indefinite detention without legal rights — to a prison complex in Illinois, dubbed “Gitmo North.” The administration was more successful with the Bagram Detention Center: In May 2010, Obama won his case at the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, making Bagram – infamous for its own cases of torture and homicide – a new legal black hole for the administration.  This prompted eight major civil liberties and human rights groups to sign a joint letter opposing the entire closure. Guantánamo has still not been closed, long after Obama’s self-imposed deadline of January 2010. On March 8, 2011, Obama issued a new executive order, formally codifying the permanent role of the Guantánamo Bay facility in the administration’s policy of indefinite detention, and as the location for military tribunals. 

The U.S. PATRIOT Act, signed into law by Bush after the September 11 attacks and widely criticized as unconstitutional, gave the president unforeseen powers to monitor phone conversations and email exchanges, and to access personal files such as medical and financial records. It also gave law enforcement and immigration authorities greater powers to detain and deport immigrants at their own discretion. The PATRIOT Act also vastly expanded the use of “national security letters” by the FBI (and reportedly also the CIA and DOD). These are documents that can be issued by the agency without the approval of a judge, mandating the recipients to submit data and records pertaining to other individuals (such as clients or patients), and barring them from disclosing to anyone, including their lawyer, that they received such a letter.

In October 2009, Obama joined the GOP in pushing for the renewal of key provisions of the PATRIOT act, and of the law as a whole in 2010. After getting rid of the existing, inadequate protections of civil liberties included in the bill, and rejecting all proposed reforms aimed to protect civil liberties, the Senate Judiciary Committee, including nearly all of its Democrats, voted to pass the law at the express urging of the president. Many Democrats had vehemently condemned the law during Bush’s presidency. In July 2010, the Obama administration began to pressure Congress to rewrite the PATRIOT Act so as to give the FBI the right to access any individual’s Internet activity records without court oversight. In May 2011, a bipartisan effort by the leadership of both parties pushed through another 4-year extension of the law. The effort was spearheaded by Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, both vocal opponents of the law during Bush’s presidency. Meanwhile, some Democratic senators have voiced concerns about the administration’s interpretation of the PATRIOT Act, which they claim contradicts the letter of the law and further expands its scope, based on a legal theory which the White House insists is “a secret” from the public.

Bush hiked the nation’s military spending back to Reagan-era levels, and took the country into two catastrophic wars, one of them under false pretenses and in violation of international law. In a historically bad economic situation, incomparable to that of 2002 , Obama has surpassed Bush and and Reagan in defense spending, with the largest combined budget for the military since World War II. These hikes have been accompanied by constant, misleading statements about “cuts” in the Pentagon’s budget. Meanwhile, Obama has signaled imminent cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid  Obama has hiked the spending on, and use of, Special Operations forces, secretly deployed them to 75 countries, and extended de facto “secret wars” to Somalia and Yemen.

He extended Bush tax cuts through 2012, that benefited the wealthiest 95% of the country in order to extend unemployment benefits. Hardly a fair trade..He said that the tax cuts would create jobs, he was against NAFTA before he was for it and a crackdown on whistle blowers and journalists. Let's not mention he continues to use the ridiculous "state secrets privilege" started by Bush, which basically is a request to exclude certain evidence if it can be harmful to national security. The Bush legal team introduced a radical reinterpretation of this evidentiary rule, making it serve to bar any legal action against the Government, throwing out entire cases involving torture, arbitrary detentions, and warrantless spying on Americans. Immediately after Obama took office, his administration and the DOJ under Eric Holder adopted exactly the same legal arguments that the Bush administration had made, and have used them to discard unwanted cases against the Government. Obama has successfully continued to use the state secrets privilege to block any scrutiny of torture, arbitrary detentions, warrant less spying on Americans, extraordinary renditions, or of his assassination program.

I could literally go on and on about this...but you get the point...

With our permanent war on terror that gets pushed to the side due to Kimye, Beyonce', Jay-Z, which ignorant whore got kicked in the face on __________(fill in the blank reality show),  and now Dre's Beats by Dre nonsense, the Constitutional lawyer that sits in the oval office has expanded on the worst of the Bush administration and he has no one to blame for his failures but himself.

For all that drank his kool aid, he failed you and he should apologize every day. Life is like a box of chocolates, either it's full of cherry cordials that you won't eat, or someone has already eaten the candy and all you have is the aroma of chocolate. That is  the Obama Presidency, an empty box full of the aroma of what could have been.

Father Beats 13 Year Old Girl, Mom Watches, Tapes and Calls Her B*tch

In a celebration of Black dysfunction and Maury levels of ignorance, a video has surfaced where a so called father beats his 13 year old daughter because she was missing for 3 days. He actually holds her hair extensions in the middle of the street, and proceeds to beat her like a pimp would a hoe. That's not even the most disturbing part of the video. The mother who is taping in the background is cheering the father on like a wild banshee with  bloodlust and keeps calling the girl a "bitch".

I'm not a parent and I don't particularly like children, they carry too many germs, but this was not standard discipline by any stretch of the imagination. Nothing this girl did validated this "discipline", outside of murdering someone.

This was flat out child abuse and why Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson or Obama hasn't said anything shocks me. Well, no not really. See this is again black people resorting to violence to solve their problems and proving to everyone else that we are savages and shouldn't be allowed to breed the next generation because we are a burden on society. There is no defending this...Well, again there have been a slew of morons online that have stated that the parents were justified in publicly humiliating this girl and justified by the fact that since they got beat as a child and they turned out perfectly fine, then she will be ok too. It makes one wonder, with all these beatings that black children received, shouldn't we be the best behaved, best educated, most productive members of society? Sure the Criminal Justice system is biased and there is rampant racism in American society, but let's be honest, we are not taking care of our own families and communities. Beating is a lazy parenting tool, it's like either beat your kid while publicly shaming them on camera or letting them run wild. There is an in between, called parenting.

Look at the video. Now, I didn't hear about these monkey's on television crying about their daughter being missing. There were no amber alerts to my knowledge and she was gone for 3 days. Really?! So you were so worried, but there were no news reports or amber alerts. Yeah right...Then when you finally see the daughter you thought she could be dead in a ditch, what do you do? Embrace her warmly because you are relieved that the daughter you thought might be dead isn't dead? Nope. We see a father that is dressed like he hasn't had to go to work in years, reacting like a female, probably because he was raised in a one parent/ female dominated household and never learned how to be a man, grab a child by the hair and repeatedly assault her. This was not an act of love or protection. Love would've been to discipline this girl when she was younger, help her with her homework, take her to school, have her involved in activities, impose boundaries like bed times, get to know her friends, be a good example and teach her how men are supposed to treat a woman. Protection is to tell her, "Look sweetie, boys only want one thing, and you can't wear clothes like that. You need to have more self worth and not advertise everything." A parent would tell her that if you run off with strange people, there is a possibility that you will be raped or murdered, therefore you have to be in the house and can go out with friends with adult supervision. She is only 13. That's protection. I would suspect that their is a lot of yelling, drinking, smoking and no focus on education in that house.

Where did that girl get the blonde weave at 13? Where did she get her hooker store dress? I suspect that she is mini me of her mother, so if there is any "bitch" that needs to be drug out in the middle of the street and beaten is the pitiful excuse for a mother she has. Black women are ruining the black family and here is why. You have a bunch of ratchet, immature whores that run around and believes that bullying or yelling will solve all their problems after having a baby for a man that was sleeping with multiple women didn't work out. They give the kid some stupid, hood name that will doom them to either a stripper pole or paper hat. They copy the behavior of Kim Kardashian or the cast of Bad Girls Club, buy weave in some crayola color with some stupid grey or blue contacts, rarely pay their bills on time, or at all, and use the kid for the child support, the ability to file for food stamps, section 8 and other programs. All they want is to use the kid as a meal ticket, claim them or sell them for income taxes and not once care about the kids schooling, activities or make any plans for college other than sports. Why would a man try and fight for visitation when you have an ignorant animal raising your child 24/7? What can you do to counteract all the bed hopping, drinking, different "uncles", other half brothers and sisters being brought into an environment that supposed to be safe, not chaotic. Personally, I would just send the check too, and try again with someone with sense and just charge the kid to the game. Dealing with trash like some of these women is like ice skating up hill.

This vicious cycle in our community really needs to stop. Before we rage at the George Zimmerman's, police brutality and the other racist whites or whatevers, we need to stop brutalizing ourselves and our community. I don't believe this foolishness was "the dream" Martin Luther King was talking about. We are a race of deviant clowns that revels in the dysfunction of numerous "baby daddy's", gaming the system, focusing on triviality and having an attitude like the world owes us something and will dare anyone to try and criticize or rectify the problem. Black people complain that they don't teach our history in school or how this black person invented this or that and never was given proper credit for it, but who cares. There will not be another generation of black doctors, lawyers or scientists because someone at age 35 can be someone's grandmother and that all we care about is Lil Boosie being released from prison or Jay-Z and Beyonce's new album. We are consumed with pop culture consumerism, rims, chains and Jordans. We don't save, invest or plan for more than our next pay check, but then it's all the white man's fault. Right?

The school teacher or the juvenile detention officer is not the parent and therefore not responsible for discipline and even if they were, it woudn't have been a public beating of a person whose brain hasn't fully developed yet and can't physically defend themselves. Our community has such a high rate of child abuse, most of it called discipline, but our record of being well behaved citizens suck. So the argument that abuse equals conformity to rules flies out the window. Blacks do run the prison system and I'm sure most brag about all the beating they got as a child or the sign their mother made them wear around their neck, claiming that they are a thief, while being led around a department store, ( I actually saw this),  and wrinkle their noses at the spoiled little white children who win the science fairs, study entomology, read, go to college and get jobs.

Where is the outrage? Why aren't the parents identities put online? Why isn't there a petition to have these two savages put in jail for assaulting a child. That girl was a reflection of the environment she came from, therefore the beatings belong to both parents, because they failed her. Until the child becomes an adult, her mistakes are her parents. If she had a good role models, she would've been in the house reading a book or watching TV or would've asked for permission to go somewhere. Her parents failed her and the Black Community has failed spectacularly.

Congratulations! At least this didn't happen during "Black History Month".

Yeezus Snubbed at the Grammy's Because It Sucked

Every year, the practical joke that is the Grammy's pump out their popularity awards based on nominations from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. One of the perpetual "victims" that always feel slighted is Kanye West. He has 21 Grammy's total for more superior work than Yeezus and he's mad that he got nominated in certain categories and not others.
 "I've been nominated for Best Album maybe three times," he told director Steve McQueen in Interview magazine. "But let's go into the fact that I have the most Grammys of any 36-year-old or 40-year-old or whatever, and I've never won a Grammy outside of the Rap or R&B categories."Maybe because your genre is rap and r&b? It could actually pass as pop...but what category is he expecting? Island? He goes on to say, "Out of all of those 21 Grammys, I’ve never won a Grammy against a white artist. So when the Grammys nominations come out, and 'Yeezus' is the top one or two album on every single list. But only gets two nominations from the Grammys. What are they trying to say? Do they think that I wouldn’t notice?"West continued, "People come to me and congratulate me on those two nominations. F--k those nominations!"



Kanye, let's be real. You were snubbed because Yeezus sounded like you were having a bowel movement at a construction site with brilliance like:"I wanna fuck you hard on the sink

I think Jeromey Romey Romey Rome just turned into a pillar of salt from the stupidity of the above mentioned line.  It's obvious that you think way more of your talents than apparently the Academy does. This is the group that gave Eminem a Grammy for Relapse, an album so bad that he still apologizes for it and says pretend like it doesn't count. Maybe the Grammy's like most of us are Kanye Wested out. Maybe we are sick of the douchebaggery when you aren't even producing good music anymore. It was understandable when you had your breakdown when your mom died, but you went into full ass hat mode like you don't take poops like everyone else. You aren't up against white artists in Rap and R&B genre's because there are no white artists in those genre's, you dumbass. It has nothing to do with race, which is always Kanye's victim trump card. 

Total Fiction

The Grammy's is telling you that you suck and Yeezus sucked in spectacular fashion. . You rap badly, I mean really badly, just because you are popular doesn't make you good. Just because alcohol or nicotine is popular doesn't make it good. To justify this claim, all we really need to do is consider what rap is. In the first place rap is poetry. From Kayne West's extensive library, what I read is a lot of gibberish. All his songs sound like something he scribbled on a cocktail napkin while he was high on weed with a hooker napping in an 8 ball of cocaine on his bed. Or in other words he was on a date with Kim K. 

And if we are to grade Kanye West on his written word alone, we might consider him not to be too far from a child just graduating kindergarten. Again, we must remember the main purpose of poetry is inspiration: just as a sun which does not shine is not a sun, a poem which does not inspire is not a poem at all. And I pray for the sake of us all that Kayne West is never remembered as a poet.... a gun flashing wannabe rapper maybe... but a poet, NEVER!

I'm Too Sexy For My Shirt

Kanye is a god in his own delusional mind and his nut riding fans who still believe that he has talent. He believes that he will be greater than Mandela by the time he is 95. Kanye thinks that screaming profanity in a microphone puts him at the same risk as police officers. “This is like being a police officer or something, or like war or something,” Kanye West said.“Like, I’m just giving of my body on the stage; I’m putting my life at risk, literally!” Kanye West added.

Can you please give us less of yourself? Can you put your skirt and blouse away? At one point we could say, " I like Kanye's music, but I hate this prick personally." Now, with that abortion called Yeezus, I hate his so called music and I hate him. There are no redeeming qualities about this person, nothing at all. It's like he had ribs removed so that he could suck himself and he wants us all to join in but he won't even buy us dinner first. Maybe he can stomach straddling and riding Kim K on a stationary motorcycle in front of a green screen, but my gag reflex went nuts. What happened to College Dropout Kanye? The Kanye that wrote half of Jay-Z's Black Album? Who is this commercialized clone who boycotts Louis Vuitton because they won't meet with him, that has appeared and says: “I am a God.”(Jesus did wear a robe and you wear skirts)-“I am Andy Warhol.”-“I am William Shakespeare.”-“I am Michelangelo.”-“I am more relevant than Barack Obama.”(Right, the first black president vs. an ass. No comparison)-“I am a creative genius.” (Admittedly, you are a commercial genius.)-“Kim deserves a star on Hollywood Boulevard.”(She should be on a corner on Hollywood Blvd, doing what she does best, and we all know what that is)-“Kim is the modern Marilyn Monroe. She is the Mona Lisa.” (Being an overweight whore who can only be classified as a serial bride, doesn't make you Marilyn Monroe)

Kanye is a sad desperate man who has lost control of his image and his sanity. It's cool you like controversy, that's the new way that Hollywood works now, standing alone on talent just makes you talented, but not interesting. 

But make no illusions out of the haze of egocentrism that fills every atom of your vast universe, you weren't nominated for "Album of the Year", because it wasn't even album of the minute. A fart set to a bass line would've been more pleasurable to the ear than Yeezus. You are not the voice of the generation (I don't know anyone that says, "Uh, black girl sipping’ white wine. Put my fist in her like a civil rights sign)", you would not be included in the Bible if it were to be rewritten or ammended, (the fool did say that), You will never be on the level of Kurt Cobain, Hendrix, Joplin, MJ, Paul McCartney or Lenin. No one will be playing Goldigger in 5 years or Bound 2 next year. 



Yeezus sucked hot King Kong balls with a side of veneral disease and that's why you got 2 obligatory Grammy nominations, so dance to your paid for audience and get good reviews to punk writers that said the album was "creative", which was a kind way of saying roman tragedy. Hopefully someone will crucify this album and bury it in a tomb so it can be sent straight to hell fueled by all the boos from the few fans that you have left.

I Made People Remember you...

The decrepit Queen dropped the N-bomb on an instagram caption. Although, we should be happy that her arthritic grapefruit smashers can use 21st Century tech, someone needs to censor her and tell her she hasn't been cool since the 90's and Gaga's shameless copying is why her name continues to be mentioned. Let's face it, she is no longer relevant and she had her time and it has long since passed. 

She decided to post a photo of her 13 year old son boxing and captioned it: "No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disni--a." Her coterie of drag queen fans who still think this old lioness still has originality past her 10 year ago expiration date, responded and let her know she was out of order and she took the photo down. Not long after, she re posted the photo with a more combative, albeit comical caption, "OK let me start this again. #get off of my dick haters!" Yeah...somehow I believe that you actually have that aforementioned anatomical feature, just keep on that drag makeup.

Now she did the celebrity formal bigotry apology saying,  "I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N-word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur ... I am not a racist." We know, we know...you adopted a black child, slept with black men, stole black people's dance music and have black friends come over to your house all the time. 

She added: "There's no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention ... It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it's a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me." This from the person that loves the gays and dressed up like a boy scout to protest their stance on gay troupe leaders and embraced them to her sagging bosom. This saint of love and acceptance uses *gasp* racial slurs. She did hitch hike cross country naked and we saw her entire birth canal for over a decade. So "taste" isn't a strength for her.

Jahi McMath, Keeping a Decomposing Body on Lifesupport is Immoral

According to CNN...

Jahi McMath is no longer inside the hospital where doctors declared her brain-dead after tonsil surgery last month. But family members won't reveal where they took the 13-year-old after Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland released her Sunday night. "We're very relieved that she got safely to where she needed to be, because we were all very afraid, given the fragile condition as she wasted away at Children's, that she might not make it," attorney Chris Dolan told reporters Monday. I think we can safely say, that having a death certificate issued with your name on it means you didn't make it.

The move ends one chapter of a weeks-long struggle between the hospital, which sought to remove Jahi from a ventilator after doctors and a judge concluded she was brain-dead, and her relatives, who fought in court to keep her on the ventilator and contended she showed signs of life.

"As a family, we are definitely relieved that she's no longer at Children's Hospital, but we're all emotionally drained," Omari Sealey, the girl's uncle, told CNN's Piers Morgan Live on Monday night. "This has been an incredible roller-coaster ride of emotions. He said so long as his niece's heart is beating, Jahi is alive. "She's moving a lot more. She responds to audio and touch, and more compelling evidence is the fact that she can move her head and neck," Sealey said.

Jahi -- who was declared brain-dead December 12 after post-surgery complications that her family says included severe bleeding and cardiac arrest -- was moved from the hospital Sunday accompanied by a critical-care team. She was attached to a ventilator, but with no feeding tube in place.

Ok...so let me start by saying that I sympathize with the family and I can't imagine the heartbreak of losing a child. With that being said, here is why brain dead means dead. 

A person who is brain dead may appear alive -- there may be a heartbeat, they may look like they're breathing, their skin may still be warm to the touch.But doctors say there is no life when brain activity ceases. If the brain dies, the body dies. When people discuss "coma" and braindead", they use the terms interchangeably. "Coma" is the broader term used to describe a prolonged state of unconsciousness, according to the Mayo Clinic. Outwardly, it resembles sleep. Doctors may sometimes purposefully put a patient into a coma to give the brain time to heal. Comas rarely last longer than a couple of weeks, according to the clinic; patients can fully regain consciousness or may transition from a coma into a persistent vegetative state. (Terry Schiavo)

Someone in a persistent vegetative state has lost most higher cognitive function, but his or her brain shows some activity. The patient may open their eyes or exhibit small movements, but cannot speak or respond to commands.  Some patients can recover from this state. These are the Miracle's that people are posting as being awakened from "brain death" by the power of prayer, but in actuality it's more like a coma, not actual brain death. 

Both these situations are different from brain death: According to the Uniform Determination of Death Act, an individual is dead when he or she "has sustained either (1) irreversible cessation of circulatory and respiratory functions, or (2) irreversible cessation of all functions of the entire brain, including the brain stem." 

"Brain death" means both the upper and lower part of the brain are not functioning. That command center of the body that regulates the central nervous system is unable to perform. However, some function, such as a heartbeat, may linger.

But without brain function, the body eventually shuts down, unless there is medical intervention. Someone on a ventilator may appear to be breathing, but cannot breathe on their own. Wait...she is on a ventilator, right? What does that mean? She can't breathe on her own, her brain can't regulate the central nervous system, ergo...she's dead. 

Jahi's mother, Nailah Winkfield, has said, "I would probably need for my child's heart to stop to show me that she was dead. Her heart is still beating, so there's still life there." That's because she is hooked up to a machine that is doing the breathing and pumping her heart for her. If she were to be unplugged from all those machines that were doing the things her brain should be doing if it were truly functioning, she would have to face the reality that her baby is gone. That is something she simply is not prepared to do. There is no reason to keep this child on prolonged life support unless they are trying to save her organs for donation or give the family a chance to say goodbye. They have had more than enough time for both outcomes. 

Let's be clear, no one that has met the criteria for brain death has survived, no one and a decomposing body is not eligible for medical treatment. Taking a dead body to a long term facility to heal it, is ethically and morally wrong. I blame this woman's attorney and the religious community for giving her false hope in thinking that Jahi will ever open her eyes, smile at her mother, ride her bike, play her video games, go on a diet, have a first kiss, have a first crush, go to the prom, and enjoy all the joys and heartbreaks that make up this crazy path of life. The death certificate has been issued, it's a done deal, and the person that needs to heal is the mother, because little Jahi can't be fixed. 



The family will eventually regret this, along with the faciltiy and religious nutjobs that encouraged this Insane course of action. Gradually her muscles will atrophy, turn to mush, and she will break down more and more to where they will have no choice but to face the obvious, while having to question, did we just torture her for months, since the claim was that she was alive and the only clear proof of not hearing a beating heart will do, without unhooking the machines to get that aforementioned proof . That's something everyone that sanctioned this tragic tale will have to live with. Please pull the plug and stop putting yourselves through this pain needlessly by praying for a Miracle that will never happen. 

The point is, the outcome is the same, Jahi McMath is dead.

The nonsense started when the fembot cohost read a letter about a disclosure of aids status. He drones on about how he isn't sure, but “used to think it was transmitted by saliva and other things, now they say it may be sexual contact.” So, he advised the woman not have sex with the man. If you don't know by now how the aids is spread, then I would just shut up.

“There are laws now... I think the homosexual community has put these draconian laws on the books that prohibit people from discussing this particular affliction," he continued. "You can tell somebody you had a heart attack, you can tell them they’ve got high blood pressure, but you can’t tell anybody you’ve got AIDS." He found out the secret gay agenda on paragraph 5, page 431, sentence 3. The encryption of the last agenda was supposed to be unbreakable, but Pat broke out the tin foil hat and quija boards and foiled the gay takeover.

So...tell me how many openly gay judges have sat on the Supreme Court? How many openly gay Congressman, Senators, or Presidents have we had? Every election cycle they play the Christian litmus test, so exactly how can these "homosexuals" write laws? Secondly, there are no gays in positions of power to control the government to put draconian laws into place to keep AIDS a secret. On the contrary, the LGBT community goes out of its way to educate all people, gay and straight. How would you know? There isn't a gay sock puppet theater to help drive the point home to you or people with lower intellectual deficiencies.

Underneath the drawing is contact information -- a Kings Mountain post office box, GMail address and hot line. This week, multiple county residents found the fliers, tucked in plastic bags and weighed down with a small stone, in their driveways. That just screams pride from the 600 small minded and probably morbidly obese membership...The Kluckers have shown their perpetual insecurity of their own economic positions which breeds hate.  How do I know that they are a Podunk country cousin screwers? How many Fortune 500 CEO's boast the Klan as an affiliation. The goal is to hang with people that are career minded and can help take you to the next level, not complain about a war that was lost over 100 years ago. 

These Klan members have an unusual and hypocritical view of Christianity, where only white, protestant males are the chosen and the rest of us lost in the racial lottery. Don't the Pastors say that Jesus died for us, he died for all of us and our sins, regardless of race, age, sex, sexual orientation or socio economic status? How are you Christian exactly? I thought that we were taught in school that we all came from the same descendants, and as Americans are all mixed up and there is no such thing as racial purity. They hate, kill and try to destroy any and everything that they fear or can't control, and what these cowards FEAR and HATE the most is THE ADVANCEMENT OF COLORED PEOPLE...ANYONE WITH COLOR. So they are coming around spreading their brand of stupidity from town to town to try and spread the disease of HATE and FEAR and cause these folks who are undercover HATERS to get things started and then they will leave, but not before they try to destroy the and peace of progress we have obtained in the country.

They once stood for people that had no voice in society that was without proper representation. This group will crop up due to the rise of the TEA Party, fear over Obama and the shrinking of their personal net worth due to policies set forth by Bush and the other fools that hold both chambers of our useless legislative branch.
