   A group that believes "the white race is God's chosen people" is hosting a three-day conference that will culminate with a "sacred Christian cross-lighting ceremony" Friday evening. The Christian Identities Ministries conference, which will be held in Lamar County, has drawn concern from residents, including Winfield Mayor Wayne Silas, or anyone with a moral compass, who has asked city employees to remove the group's fliers. It appears in addition to Cullman and Clanton, we have another place in Alabama that black people can't be caught  at night.

 The organizer of the event, Rev. William C. Collier, says that his church is not a hate group. The cross-lighting ceremony is "open to all white Christians," the group's flier states. I totally believe that this so called Reverend isn't promoting hatred, I mean please...what the hell are we all thinking? Cross burning? The white race are God's chosen people? No...that sounds reasonable to me. I'm sure on the bottom of the flier it also stated: "After the cross burnin, ya'll invited to the animal courtin and the sister marryin at the nearest barnyard." What is so sacred about burning crosses? Isn't that a method of terror utilized by the Klan since Reconstruction? It seems that once again, God has the lock on retards for followers.

Guess who else isn't invited to this blasphemy? That Hebrew dude named Jesus. When will people become sick and tired of this racism crap in any form? It's even more sickening to use the veil of religion to justify racist view points. Considering the very Bible that these rednecks use to position themselves to screw the livestock clearly state that the Hebrews were God's chosen which is why Judeo Christians have the insane belief that America supports Israel. Doesn't "Christian" mean Christ like or follower of Christ? How is this Christ like? Didn't Jesus preach loving one another, helping the lesser among us, treating people as equals and all that hippy socialist nonsense that the God party, I mean the GOP have convinced us is wrong. We have a bastardized capitalist psuedo Christian society at least it's Christian on Sunday's or when politicians need to manipulate the mindless minions. It seems "Christian" means prosperity, child molestation, theft, pimps and hoes, mega churches, and phony king coronations.

This type of ignorance will do nothing to attract people to "christianity". This is yet another example of intolerance, hypocrisy, hate mongering, and double standards that cause disillusionment or reinforce disbelief.  It's funny that the so called "white supremacists" are the walking and talking refutation of that belief. It's never a John Kerry or Bill Gates type that is well read, educated, well dressed, rich and live in a civilized town. White Supremacists are always a real life version of He-Haw with Confederate flags, rotting teeth, chewing dip, "mudding", people that think that road kill is gourmet meat and when they talk you can almost hear "Dueling Banjo's" playing. 

Since Christians fight tooth and nail on the Genesis story which flies in the face of science, then they should believe that God created man and not a specific color of man. What do I expect from Sweet Home Alabama, a state full of people with less than a high school education, a sad excuse for an education system, and no type of resources except for an unhealthy love of Alabama and Auburn football. 

Thank you Alabama for once again setting the mark lower than any other state in the contiguous United States. You stay classy Alabama.

Herman Cain On His Z Game

Herman Cain, the Little Engine that can't ever be elected to hold the office of President of the United States of America, is undergoing a joint book tour along with his phony campaign. Instead of going to primary states, like Iowa and New Hampshire, Uncle Ruckus has decided to take his medicine show to uncontested red states and peddle his brand of nonsensical rhetoric and propaganda. Cain is trying to be "the black guy", but not "that black guy". Cain has somehow become the Great White Hope to shut down Magic Underpants, Serial Flip Flopper Mitt Romney.

"The South looks very, very good for us," Mark Block, Cain's campaign manager, i.e. Creepy creeperton with the bad smoking habit from Cain's ridiculous web political add/ running punchline. Of course it looks good, the South is a backwards place that believes that when it rains the appropriate behavior is to get off of the phone  and be quiet because "God is doing his work". How about this one, if it rains and it's sunny at the same time, it means that "the devil is beating his wife." Yes people, these are the mental giants that walk the streets and are allowed to continue reproducing.

Cain himself plays up his Southern roots: His drawl grows a little thicker and he mentions God a little more frequently, to suit the crowd. "I am in Alabama because Alabama matters," Cain said at the state's party headquarters. "Ya'll are my neighbors." I want to move away from this cooning, pandering clown.

In the South, some Cain supporters say that supporting an African-American could turn long-held racial perceptions around. No Deep South states supported Barack Obama in 2008 and elected representatives in the state have become more racially polarized in recent years. Which is why it makes no logical sense for him to come here other than to shill for his book and pretend to campaign. Plus, set black people in politics back for another 50 years with his stupid pizza songs and "blame the poor for being poor" mambo jumbo.

Scott Beason, a Republican Alabama state senator, said a Cain victory, especially in the Deep South, would be a visible sign of progress.

"It would change the stereotypes that still exist about how people make their decisions down here," Beason said. "I think it's ironic that he will do better here than in the so-called enlightened states up north." "What folks are doing is listening to what is he saying and he is not afraid to say what he thinks."

Really Scott? This from the guy that called blacks, AFRICAN AMERICANS, aborigines. He was blithely unaware that aborigines are natives of New Zealand and Australia, a fact that most kids learn in a fourth grade world history class. I don't know about you, but I haven't seen any kangaroo's lately...It isn't all bad, he did get the hemisphere correct, so I guess we should cut him some slack. This guy is an elected official, A STATE SENATOR, so having him as a represented member of government proves that this is a state stacked to the sky of marginally retarded christian conservative nut jobs who can't see past things they don't understand, or things hidden in books. What earth shattering things are people listening to? Him saying God over and over? Singing old negro spirituals? How great the world of pizza is? Oh well, that's pretty difficult to grasp, but so is the fact that Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, and The Tooth Fairy are all not really real. Using and addressing the people in double and triple negatives to pander to the "unique" southern charm? People in the South should be insulted that they are being talked down to and frankly manipulated by an idiot who can't even tell if he is for or against abortion  without a clarification and a retraction within the same day. Scott Beason's stereotype's are a matter of public record, you know the aborigine thing, and if he is so concerned about stereotypes changing, I would strongly suggest he begin with taking off his hood, take a fourth grade history course, and just wave the white flag in the face of his own self loathing.

Cain himself mocks rumors that he's simply in the race to promote his brand. "I've written some books," he said. "I don't want no TV show." How about, I don't want no candidate who can't speak no appropriat­e English...

Haven't we had enough of Presidents with grammar problems or people that feel they need to "dumb down" in order to be accepted. He doesn't want his own show, well neither did Palin, and Huckabee. Someone will start a Failed Candidate Network to provide 24/7 airtime in 15 minute segments for every one of them.

Go to Church or Go to Jail

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishm­ent of religion, or prohibitin­g the free exercise thereof...­" but towns in Alabama can....Backwards is forwards...

Well Alabama leads the nation in stupid ideas and yet another attempt to force us into a theocracy with this one. An Alabama town, Bay Minette plans to start an alternative sentencing program that would give non-violent offenders a new choice: Go to jail, or go to church.

Starting next week, the program will allow a city judge to sentence all misdemeanor offenders to work off their sentences in jail and pay a fine, or go to church every Sunday for a year. Offenders who select church can pick the place of worship but must check in weekly with the pastor and the police department. If the one-year church attendance program is completed successfully, the offender's case will be dismissed.

The Alabama branch of the American Civil Liberties Union plans to send Bay Minette officials a letter demanding that they suspend the program. Assuming that the post office hasn't been shut down and that the town officials can both read and comprehend the Queen's English, they are wasting their time. The ACLU and anyone awake claims that the law violates the Establishment Clause and that the government cannot force someone to attend church. When the alternative to going to church is going to jail, the so-called `choice' available to offenders is no choice at all.

Pastor Robert Gates of Christian Life Church leads one of 56 congregations( who should start paying taxes), participating in the effort. He predicted it would succeed. Right...because Biblical prophecies are so accurate....how many people have sold their homes or killed themselves based on "the end of the word is on _________insert date." Thousands.
"You show me somebody who falls in love with Jesus, and I'll show you a person who won't be a problem to society but that will be an influence and a help to those around them," he told the television station.

Wash the Super Devil Out

You show me an episode of lockup and I can show you an entire prison full of Christians, Muslims, and Catholics. So...are they a problem to society? They are no longer a problem to society because they are incarcerated? It seems that Jesus is in the business of punishing these days, so this grand plan could work, other than the fact that this is unconstitutional and Bay Minette will probably get sued for doing this. If I had a choice, between jail and church, I would choose jail, you would meet a better class of people. In jail, they tell you up front that they are going to auction you off, stab you, beat you, put out a hit on you, rape you, but there is honor among thieves. In church, it's all cloak and dagger and manipulation. Choose jail, your butt may be sore for a little while, but you will have less chance for permanent mental damage. Here is  a can of worms that thy never saw coming, other than illegality and law suits....­what if they chose a lucifarian church?...­They cant tell you who to worship, or how about Rastafaria­n church?...I know the pot thing would probably draw more heat, due to the point that some people will have possession charges....th­ey need to find the most outlandish non mainstream religion they can and stick it to em....how bout the church of Jesus Christ Christian?­(white power church)...­.or some Voo Doo goat killing cult.

No one will ever be brought to Christ or any deity by force, the Bible says that. Even Satan knows that. No Christian anywhere in the South bothers to read that thing called a Bible unless it's time to kill something. What about if the person isn't a christian? What if he is a Muslim, Buddhist, Pagan, Jewish, etc...there isn't that much variety in an urban city (it's really a town), like Birmingham, imagine Bay Minette which is countrier than a chicken coup. This is a terrible, blatantly unconstitu­tional idea. Just the sort of thing we have come to expect from judges in Alabama, Texas, and Georgia the trifecta of idiocy. It's also utterly worthless as a crime-prev­ention technique. (Let's remember that the crimes of September 11 were committed by people who considered themselves devout believers in a religious dogma.­)  

And they wonder why the number of people are identifying as either atheists or non religious affiliated go up year after year. If you want any more proof that the Christian Evangelical churches are nothing more than a lobby for the government then you have been asleep for the last 20 years. George Bush was never a menace to America until after he found Jesus, he heard the call then ran for President. I bet they get a lighter sentence if they donate money to the church, or the pastors personal bank account. Let's just throw away the Constitution and replace it with the Bible and indoctrination.

The Southern Poverty Law Center this evening praised Hoover High School officials for reversing a decision to ban a 15-year-old girl from wearing a T-shirt expressing acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle. Technically she was embracing the Bill of Rights and her First Ammendment Right to Free Speech. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are the sacred cows that the Tea Baggers pretend to love but actually have no knowledge of.

The Montgomery-based organization this morning sent a letter to Hoover school officials, warning it would file a federal lawsuit if the ban against the shirt were not lifted by Sept. 12.

"We are incredibly happy that the officials at Hoover High School acted so quickly to restore the rights of this brave student," said Sam Wolfe, staff attorney for the Southern Poverty Law Center. "However, while the outcome is a good one, it is unfortunate that this fundamental right was denied in the first place." Translation: These rednecks were going to get sued, and lose, they had no leg to stand on, they know it. Save face and the tax payers money, and drop the issue now.
Hoover school officials this afterntoon issued a statement, saying the T-shirt in question -- which said "gay? fine by me." -- "has not caused a substantial disruption and the student will be allowed to wear it."
However, school officials maintained that "students at Hoover High School exercise their First Amendment rights without restriction unless such expression disrupts the learning environment or disabuses the rights of others."
The 15-year-old girl who took her complaint to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Sara Couvillon, said in the statement issued by the center this afternoon that she's very relieved and feels this is a major victory for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in Alabama.

"This was not just about me -- it was about encouraging people to be brave in standing up for themselves and standing up for their rights," Couvillon said in the statement. 

How about it's the LAW!!!!!!!!! I mean really guys?! What year is this? Who was offended by this shirt? The students or the teachers? The Judeo Christian Churches are brainwashing institutions. If a member of the God Squad wanted to wear a WWJD bracelet or some other Christian propaganda, no one would have a problem and they would be applauded for standing up for their Christian principles. Why? Because in the Bible Belt, that's the majority view and it doesn't need protection. These simpleminded bigots that only see the world in only one way perceive the shirt and the ACLU as being disruptive, not their arcane 19th Century point of view. Maybe they should pass out shirts that say, "I'm Stupid, Hate Rocks!", "Kill Everything that I Don't Like!" How do they have time enough to list the things and the people to discriminate against anymore? It's only come as you are when it's time for the collection plate to be passed, right?

 IT'S A T-SHIRT! I can guarantee you, that the kids didn't care and it's the adults who behaved shamefully, as they always do in these cases. The kids at Hoover, if asked their opinion, would think it is a big joke, they are more concerned about the ball game against Spain Park and could care less what is on a t shirt. In many ways, they are more enlightened and tolerant that their adult counterparts.

For all the small minded bigots that use God and scriptures to support your prejudice and lack of intellect, you are from the same bad gene pool that didn't believe in women's rights and who probably thought slavery was just "trouble ahead". But I bet people in the south still think AIDS is a gay disease and have never heard of condoms other than using them as water balloons.

When we still have people that openly state that the downfall of a society is homosexuality and what they represent and not stupidity, then we have a problem. I don't fear gays and the LGBT Community, considering they are productive, hardworking and seek equality just like everyone else. Plus, most fashion designers, musicians, and entertainers are gay (without them, the world would be drab, colorless, lifeless and full of flannel shirts and denim), and please let's not forget the closeted fags and pedophiles that make up the church who condemn homosexuality (Pastor Ted, Bishop Eddie Long Stroke and all the Catholic Priests)....I digress... I fear stupidity and the idiots reproducing like a virus, outproducing the intelligent and educated at a rate that renders the population mentally retarded. Basically the South on a global scale. Imagine electing a president that is a Pro wrester/ porn star/ rapper and the highest rated program on tv is called "Ow My Balls" which is just people getting repitively hit in the nuts.

Perry has expressed some interest in running for President in 2012, and polled voters nationwide in January to see how he would do. He has subsequently made all of the uneducated Southern, Evangelical nut job wet dreams come true and threw his cow boy hat in the ring with the hope of trading it in for a crown. Bush 2.0 has not only snowed Iowa, but he has brought his feel good corduroy, blue jean, barbecue, and lemonade sound bite racism to Alabama and he won our "straw poll" if that means anything. It's the same formula, prayer rallies, homosexuality caused 9/11, the statue of liberty is a demonic idol, up is white, east is black. If it makes no sense, the more we like it, just say : "The Bible says" or "My Faith" and you are so in... This guy referred to his childhood as his "growing up time". This guy's election campaign is going to be sound bite gold my friends. The best was his blatantly choreographed speech while standing Captain Morgan style on a bunch of hay bales in his obscenely tight wranglers. I have seen Lady Gaga dancers who left more to the imagination.

During an appearance on James Robison’s Life Today television program, Perry says he sees a silver lining to the devastating recession that has cost millions of families their jobs, homes, and livelihoods: it will return America to “Biblical principles” ( when did we ever have those?) and free us from the slavery of big government:

I think in America from time to time we have to go through some difficult times — and I think we’re going through those difficult economic times for a purpose, to bring us back to those Biblical principles of you know, you don’t spend all the money. You work hard for those six years and you put up that seventh year in the warehouse to take you through the hard times. And not spending all of our money. Not asking for Pharaoh to give everything to everybody and to take care of folks because at the end of the day, it’s slavery. We become slaves to government.

Biblical principles of not spending money? Please re read Genesis, because this Idiots Guide to the Joseph/ Pharaoh/ Pottifer story isn't quite what happened. Unless he has some new translation of the Bible that I'm unfamiliar with. As I recall, Pharaoh did save the Egyptians during the years of famine due to the fact that Joseph interpreted a dream for Pharaoh regarding the seven years of famine and seven years of bounty. So, Bible scholar, at least get the story straight, even if your sexual orientation isn't.

A minister of music tased at a church in the St. Elmo Community, a boondock place in the nether regions of Alabama, Mobile to be exact, tased the pastor who just fired him on Sunday, touching off a fight and various knife slashing. Apparently, the Reverend told the Minister of Music that his services were no longer needed and gave him his final paycheck. A disagreement broke out about the amount of the check, tithes must down...and an argument broke out. Sexy girlfriend, The Music Minister as his final resort/ pathetic act of desperation, tased the Reverend. Really?! You know the Music Minister's  momma got involved and suffered a stab wound at the hand of the Deacon ( a church leader). What type of phuckery is this, when the church leadership is armed? When asked why the Music Minister was carrying a tazer on a Sunday, he responded, "I didn't trust the situation". What the hell type of south central type of hood do you live in where the minsters have to have weapons? Church's need metal detector's now like the court house, air ports and high school's? TSA agents are now going to pat us down at church? I already feel shaken down when they pass the collection plate 4 times, now I have to get felt up by some the same bouncer with corn rows I saw last night at the club?

Ms. Thang said he was ready to leave as minister of music, but wanted to give two weeks notice and get paid for that time. That's good, shake down the church...He maintained that the chairman of the deacon board agreed to that arrangement.

His  description of the Sunday events was as follows:

He was asked to meet with the pastor and deacons after services and was told he was being let go. His mother went with him into the meeting. So, we aren't old enough to handle a big boy meeting, you need momma to come with you? Please...The deacons told her to leave, but he told her to stay put. You know she was disruptive, ghetto, and in the way... A deacon wrote sexy back a check for $300 and handed it to him. Home girl said the amount was incorrect.

Lady boy said that two deacons told him that they would not pay another $600 that he believed was due him.

He claimed that the men grabbed him and he struggled with them, and that one the Deacon pulled out a knife with a black handle.

He said that his mother, ran for help, bringing back his 53-year-old brother with back up, he said that he received cuts to his forehead and little finger on his right hand that required a combined nine stitches. He said that his mother received 19 stitches for a stab wound to her hand. This is church, not the mafia.
This moron ran for the Democratic nomination for US Senate in 2010, another piece of the puzzle...

The meeting with Lady Boy was held in the conference room in the church’s all-purpose building. Charlatan said that Lady Boy became angry and demanded another $600.

“The deacons and myself said we were not going to pay him because this Sunday was supposed to be his last. Once you are terminated, we are no longer under any obligation for any other funds to be paid to an employee,” The charlatan said. “At that point, he pointed the Taser at me.”
The charlatan said he was Tased twice on his left arm. He said that Lady Boy also struck random Deacon in the head with a money box. Is this a bank robbery? The Deacon received two cuts that required 32 stitches, he said.
Riley said that Thug Momma would not have been injured if she had left the meeting. He said he believes she was cut by a knife that Lady Boy's brother was carrying.
“He had a long, 18-inch knife. I believe it was her son that cut her because he was swinging erratically,” Charlatan said.

Just when you think the State of Alabama can't look anymore raggity and craggity, Jefferson County announced layoff's effective saturday thanks to gross mismanagement by the idiots that the electorate continues to elect year after year out of laziness or apathy. So far, 546 layoff letters have been prepared and the good news will keep on coming...The Sherriff decided to decrease the work hours for the deputy's from 40 to 32, so, I guess crime will pay handomely, huh? But I guess that's better than laying off 148 workers, so I can't be mad at Mike Hale for that. Thanks to this fiasco by inept elected monkeys, 177 vacant positions, you know for out of work people like me, were instantly eliminated. Oh...what about the "go out and get a job", when the government kills the jobs you are applying for? You know it's so easy...Silence from the peanut gallery...

What are the consequences for this nonsense? Reduction in the already pathetic excuse in services. Wouldn't it be great to ride down I-65 and not need new shocks? Well thanks to our Jefferson County Commissioners and the uniformed electorate, we no longer have anyone to pave the highway, cut the grass on the highway, or maintain the courthouses. The people that always get's hurt are the workers, making $30k, $40k per year, the support staff, the grunts. Our wonderful crypt keeper governor has set the gold standard of showing how backwards Alabama truly is today by signing yet another idiotic bill into law requiring public schools to determine students immigration status and making it a crime to knowingly give an illegal immigrant a ride. The police is also allowed to arrest anyone suspected of being an illegal immigrant if they're stopped for any other reason (yeah right). Alabama Employers are required to search through a system called E-verify, almost like running a warrant check or criminal background check, to verify that the potential employee is in the country legally. Gov. Bentley says the law is the toughest in the country not to mention the dumbest, xenophobic and racist I have ever seen. They really believe this will change the employment landscape and get Alabamians back in the workforce by the creation of this stupid bill. How exactly? Hispanics do jobs that most Americans typically don't do for much less money. I don't about you, but I'm not an outdoor girl and I'm afraid of snakes, so yard work isn't my cup of tea. Working 10 hrs. a day for $5.75, WAIT WE GOTTA STOP THAT GRAVY TRAIN! How dare they come here and take all of our great jobs? The Republicans need to be happy anyone is even in this state of fools or bothers to come here at all. Get ready for the tourism boycott that this state so desperately needs just like in Arizona. Do you people think more than 5 minutes in front of your faces?

The legislators haven't considered what happens to these municipalities who have to hire extra cops to arrest people on the suspicion of being illegal or teachers playing detective on which students are illegal when the state has issued hiring freezes and firing teachers left and right. These teachers don't even know which student can read of write by the time they reach high school, but they are expected to play immigration cop in addition to worry about getting fired because everyone hates the teacher's union and they're underpaid. That's Alabama, focusing on a zygote, voter id, immigration than on jobs and the economy, the cradle of idiocy. I thought Governor Bentley looked like someones slave master from Roots, but he is the Fuhrer just not as charismatic or charming who now reinforces the stereotype that one can only succeed in Alabama when you are white, male, baptist and bigoted. Thanks for the intolerance and reinforcing the bad history of racial violence and hate and projecting the worst part of us to the whole world. I would hate to be Hispanic in this state, Hell, I hate being black going through certain parts of this pathetic state at night, like Clanton and Cullman.

Wade years ago, these fools are wasting time re litigating the past instead of trying to fix our broken education system which leads to high crime and the everlasting shame and embarrassment of people stuck here who don't drink grain alcohol and can read. What happened to jobs? Oh, their is nothing in Alabama, nothing but church's, jails, and that lame Alabama Adventure. The highlight of Birmingham was being featured on the First 48. How pathetic is that. Like we were supposed to be proud of that...

Don't you find it ironic that the state legislature worries so much about unborn children but we stay in the top 10 in crime? Bottom 50 in everything else, education, progress, you name it, we're last.
